We have recently introduced new functionality to provide users with at-a-glance status of current projects in process. Today’s Projects allows users to filter by project or project type, to see the projects desired. Project name and type are indicated along with such metrics as how much equipment is on the project, total run time hours, total miles, total fuel usage, and productive percentage. A thumbs up/sideways/down indicator alongside productive percentage gives users a visual representation of their productivity compared to the project's stated goals. Users can also click on a Map button to see the project map. Clicking on the Maintenance button shows any upcoming or overdue maintenance for equipment working on the project. Users can see further details by selecting the “All Data” button. They may also drill down to see detailed project and equipment productivity.
Non-standard projects (unassigned and unauthorized stops) are excluded by default but can easily be included if desired. The page refreshes periodically at predetermined intervals, but may also be refreshed manually to verify that changes made are taking effect.
“This new functionality gives users a view at their projects to see at a glance if they are on track or if changes are required,” said FleetWatcher by AlignOps Vice President Evan Triggs. “It is another example of how aggregating data through a single source tames data overload. Top-level data is clearly displayed, but users can also drill down to get a granular view of specific equipment and project productivity.”
